About Me:

I am a Columnist & Editor at

www.securitycornermexico.com or SCM

Welcome to my Web Site

By May 2009 we'll be achieving over 4,500,000 clicks in all media combined with almost 300,000 just for SecurityCornerMexico.com

Please try Google and simply type these combination of words: "security, mexico" or viceversa.

Our Mission is to be an independent information resource that promotes a Global Vision in Public Safety, Personal Protection and a 24/7 independent news service. Same program its President was responsible of for the last 36 years in 2009 trhough the American Embassy in Mexico, United Natrions Security coordination (in both cases, a service tailored for diplomats) and now independently for the International Community via my website.

Security Corner in Mexico began as an experiment in 2002. We have proven to be the badly needed answer to a deteriorated image of a country urgently requiring massive, responsible prevention programs that do work. Credibility is the door-opener to our site. SCM is edited by our readers, mostly, expats who have chosen Mexico as their new home. Most input comes from actual travelers. People have responded to our Mission as were rapidly approaching 5 million virtual visitors in May 2009.

We provide unbiased information that result in a safe, secure environment to both Mexico visitors and residents.

In today's violent world with war zones in Israel, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, terrorist incidents in Asia, violent gang activity in the U. S. Canada, U. K., Spain, with ever growing drug addition in their societies and official governmental corruption, masses of Africans escaping from their homeland, creating conflicts in high-sea & affecting world trade, Mexico is the favorite destination to international tourism.

It is estimated that in the next 10 years up to 15 million North Americans -baby boomers- with no doubt will move to Mexico as consequence of the current economic depression. This is strategically the best location they could choose, next to home.

Airlines, travel agencies, entertainment, real estate, film makers and basically ANY business should look at Security Corner in Mexico as a solution to advertising. This includes private security companies that provide technical work.

My Mexican Moment:
Life is short, please do not worry be HOPPY! -Los amigos los encuentras en su cama de enfermos, en las buenas, en las malas, en la cárcel y en el panteón. La amistad es una virtud sublime. - Have been left homeless, gone through series of tragedies. Have struggled to have a job, support my family. Thanks to the many amigos, amigas -and a few good enemies- I take each day as a lesson. Humans are prone to make mistakes. From these we learn. Old people are the best teachers. We should be educated to listen to them and acquire their wisdom. Independence in women is an asset, the key to self-esteem and respect. Have had the Honor to serve some of the wealthiest, most strict ladies in this planet. Have an 86-year old mummy who daily teaches me new lessons. Kids are like plants, trees. Give them the best possible sunshine, water, food and they will grow beautifully. In the end, once we go through that long, dark tunnel what we see on the other side is a huge paradise filled with the flowers we planted during our lives.
