Brand USA, the public-private partnership charged with promoting the United States as a destination for international travelers, just launched a campaign targeting Brazilian and Mexican travelers.
“We want to spread America’s message of welcome around the world and invite travelers to experience the limitless possibilities the United States has to offer,” said Christopher L. Thompson, president & CEO of Brand USA. Thompson announced the campaign at this year's International Pow-Wow , held last month in Las Vegas.
The multi-channel campaign will reach consumers through print, television, online media and street teams. The promotion wil run through July 8 in Brazil, and July 22 in Mexico.
"Land Of Dreams" , an original song composed by country singer Rosanne Cash, is the theme music of the campaign. The Brazil and Mexico promotion is part of a larger campaign targeting the 11 markets that generate 75% of the visits and tourism spend for the United States.
