Study U.S. - Mexican Relations at the beautiful Mexico City campus ofthe University of California in charming Colonia Chimalistac in Mexico City.

The program will run from August 10 to December 11, 2009, will be taught in English, and is open to people of all ages.

The Education Abroad Program and Casa de la Universidad de California in Mexico invites applications for The Mexico-U.S. Comparative Perspectives Program (Diplomado)

Fall Semester: August 10-December 11, 2009

Duration: 240 hours (60 hours per course)

Language Requirement: Advanced proficiency in English

History and Culture of Migration

Mexico-U.S. Economic Relations

Cities in Transition: Los Angeles-Mexico City

Mexico-U.S.: Perspectives on Gender

Mexican Culture Across Borders: Film, Music, Literature

Who can apply:

University-level students and residents of Mexico who are interested in the bilateral relations between the United States and Mexico.

About the Program:

Local students take classes with University of California students studying in Mexico. Local students must successfully complete 4 courses to receive the Diploma.

Program Cost:

General Public: $18,000 (Mexican Pesos)

Students: $15,000 (Mexican Pesos)

(Individual courses may be taken. Cost will vary depending on registration status.)

Thursday, June 11, 10 AM and Tuesday, July 7 at 10 AM. The program has limited space available.
