Rosarito Beach (Playas de Rosarito) is located in the state of Baja California, 35 minutes from the U.S.-Mexico border.

 

 It is a popular tourist destination, receiving more than one million annual visitors. Early visitors to the area included Hollywood stars like Rita Hayworth, Mickey Rooney and Katharine Hepburn.

 

Today, Rosarito has 900 hotel rooms in some 25 luxury hotels and resorts that coexist comfortably with thriving artisan (look for galleries featuring custom made iron and wooden furniture pieces) and surfing communities (there are7 major surfing beaches near Rosarito).

 

Rosarito Beach Hotel, built 85 years ago, has 500 guestrooms and suites, 5 meeting halls and a garden available for  events of up to 1,000 people. Its largest venue has 25,000 square feet of event space. The Rosarito Inn offers luxurious condominiums with up to 4 bedrooms, hotel rooms and suites, corporate housing, as well as outdoor and indoor event space.

 

Tijuana International Airport is 30 minutes from Rosarito Beach, with direct flights to Oaxaca, Mexico City, Monterrey, and Ontario, California.
