Ensenada, known as the “Cinderella of the Pacific”, is the state of Baja California’s third largest city. This commercial fishing and cruise ship port boasts a Mediterranean climate and surf-worthy beaches. Its ideal, northern Baja location, elite resorts and access to outdoor activities in a natural environment, give Ensenada its reputation as an luxury destination with adventure tourism.

From kayaking and snorkeling, to horseback riding and hiking, Ensenada offers an array of water and land activities well worth exploring. The Ensenada area is famous for its lush vineyards where wine tasting trips are in high demand. In fact, the Baja Peninsula’s oldest winery, Bodegas de Santo Tomas, is right in Ensenada and offers wine tastings and daily-guided tours of the plant.

A resort destination that caters to the half a million visitors it receives each year, Ensenada has a number of first class hotels. Ensenada's largest hotel, the San Nicolas Hotel & Casino offers 157 rooms and suites, restaurants, entertainment facilities and five event spaces with a capacity for up to 450 people. The fact that Ensenada is only 70 miles south of the U.S.-Mexico border and a beautiful 90-minute drive from San Diego makes it a popular vacation and meetings site for many Americans.
